For those that take the game of poker seriously they spend a great deal of time on their strategies. For the new player first starting out strategies are very limited but as they gain experience as the game progresses then their strategies will become sharper as well.
There are many devices on the market to help an individual poker player with their strategies. They can use this as an assistant while they are honing their strategy skills. One such device is the Tournament Shark.
What I like about the Tournament Shark…
- Playing poker in tournaments is different from playing at the tables. Therefore, the strategies that you use will be somewhat different. It is no different though when it comes to learning all you can about your opponents. As the games move quickly you must be able to analyze your opponents just as quick. This is where the software Tournament Shark really does its job. There are many great features to Tournament Shark and one of the most important ones is that it is so easy to use. For those that are not familiar with using software then this is the type of program one wants because it is not detailed on setting it up and getting the program to work.
- The Tournament Shark will just attach to your game at whatever tournament table you are at and it will immediately give you some great statistics concerning your opponents. This way you will be able to better judge what type of moves your opponents are likely to make in specific scenarios.
- The information that Tournament Shark provides you with is taken from the Pro-Poker Labs massive database. This is not just new information as it goes back to 2025. So if you are up against players that have been playing for a great deal of time then you are going to have that information available to you as well which could prove to be valuable.
- There are so many things that you really need to know about your opponent and the more you know the better judgment calls you will be able to make. Tournament Shark will give you information such as the total games or their average profits for example. This will cover most of the casino sites that they have played at although some information will not be available from Poker Stars for example.
- One of the other great features of the Tournament Shark is that will also give you a percentage breakdown of the opponent's tendency to finish a game for example do they normally finish late, in the game middle or early and this is all-important information.
- Another important feature is that the graphics are easily read and nicely laid out. This is important when you are playing in a game because you do not want to be distracted from your strategy playing. You will also have the choice of running the program for only the tables that are open or you can go back and forth for individual tables.
What I do not like about Tournament Shark…
Amounts to very little as it is a great program but perhaps the biggest flaw might be is that it likes to take up a substantial amount of memory but nothing that is so significant that it will interfere with your play.
